Martin DASKE ist freischaffender
Komponist, Autor, Regisseur und Produzent in Berlin.
Kompositorische Ausbildung in den USA am Dartmouth College bei Christian Wolff,
in Krakòw und am Mozarteum Salzburg bei Boguslaw Schaeffer. Daske entwickelte
neben seinem „normalen“ kompositorischen Schaffen (zuletzt: „sans
paroles dans sables mouvants“ für Sextett (2007) und "AquAria"
für Unterwassergesang (2008)) eine Form dreidimensionaler Notation ("folianten").
2001 Gründung des Duos "Soundscrapers" mit dem Berliner Philharmoniker
Janne Saksala. 2002 Gründung des Duos „Die
Klangschürfer“ mit dem Sprachkünstler Rainer Rudloff.
Zahlreiche Hörspiele und andere Radioarbeiten (zuletzt: „no barking
at any time“ (2006)). Klanginstallationen, z.B. „backbord ein
kolibri“, Kinderhörspiele, Theater- und Filmmusiken (zuletzt: "Lunik"
(2006/2007)und "Je voudrais être légère" (Tanztheater,
Marseille 2008/2009). Seit 1989 gemeinsam mit Rainer Rubbert künstlerischer
Leiter der Konzertreihe "Unerhörte
Musik" in Berlin. Seit 1993 betreibt Daske sein eigenes Produktionsstudio:
tribord studio.
CD-Veröffentlichungen bei WERGO, edel-records, dem Hörverlag, der Hörcompany und beim Baumhaus Verlag. Seit 2006 auch Geschäftsführer der Initiative Neue Musik e.V. Berlin.

Composition studies in the USA at Dartmouth College with Christian Wolff, in Krakow and at the Salzburg Mozarteum with Prof. Boguslaw Schaeffer. Alongside his more traditional compositions (most recently: “sans paroles dans sables mouvants“ for sextet (2007) and "AquAria" for underwater singing (2008)), Daske developed a form of three-dimensional notation (“foliants“). In 2001 he founded the duo “Soundscrapers“ with the Berlin Philharmonic bassist Janne Saksala and in 2002, the duo “Die Klangschürfer“ (“The Sound Diggers”) with the vocal artist, Rainer Rudloff. Daske has created countless Hörspiele and other works for radio (most recently: “no barking at any time” (2006)), sound installations (“backbord ein kolibri”), childrens’ Hörspiele, music for theater and film (most recently: “Lunik“ (2006/2007) and "Je voudrais être légère" (Dance theater, Marseille 2008/2009)). Since 1989, together with Rainer Rubbert, he has been artistic director of the concert series "Unerhörte Musik" in Berlin. Daske has been running his own production studio since 1993: tribord studio.

Martin DASKE est compositeur, auteur, réalisateur et
producteur indépendant à Berlin.
Il a fait ses études de composition au Darmouth College (USA) avec
Christian Wolff, puis à Cracovie et au Mozarteum de Salzbourg avec
Boguslaw Schaeffer. Il a reçu plusieurs prix et distinctions :
en 1990 et 1999, il a été compositeur boursier du Sénat
de Berlin ; en 1993, pour sa pièce « Abfahrt »
(« Départ »), il a obtenu la mention honorable
au Prix Europa. Entre 1990 et 1993, il été plusieurs fois Artiste
en résidence au « ZMK », « Zentrum
für Kunst und Medientechnologie » (« Centre d’art
et de technologie des médias »).
En marge de son activité « normale » de compositeur
(dernières œuvres : « sans paroles dans sables
mouvants » pour sextuor, 2007 ; « AquAria »
pour voix subaquatique, 2008), Martin Daske a inventé une forme de
notation musicale tridimensionnelle, les «folianten»
.
En 2001, avec Janne Saksala, de la Philharmonie de Berlin, il a créé
le duo « Soundscrapers » et en 2002, avec Rainer
Rudloff, comédien-récitant, le duo « Die
Klangschürfer » (les « prospecteurs de son »).
Il est l’auteur de nombreuses productions radiophoniques (dernière
œuvre : « no barking at any time », 2006) ;
d’installations sonores (entre autres « backbord ein kolibri »,
« colibri à babord ! »), de pièces pour
enfants, de musiques de scène ou de film (dernières œuvres :
« Lunik »,
2006-2007 et « Je voudrais être légère »,
pour théâtre dansé, Marseille, 2008-2009). Ses œuvres
sont publiées par WERGO, par edel-records, par le Hörverlag, par
la Hörcompany et par Baumhaus Verlag.
Depuis 1989, il est, avec Rainer Rubbert, directeur artistique de « Unerhörte
Musik » (« Musique inouïe »), série
de concerts de musique contemporaine à Berlin. Depuis 1993, il a son
propre studio de production : tribord studio. Et depuis
2006, il est directeur de l’association « Intitiative
Neue Musik » de Berlin.
